Honda 45, frame serial number?

I bought me a old Honda 45, four stroke last summer, but how can I find the frame serial number in any other place on my Honda 45?
I want to find out how old my Honda is!
I found a metal plate on the stern bracket, but it's little bit corrosion on the plate, so I can only see the last 7 digits and in the right corner is also stamped Ltd and then maybe also Honda...
But I think it should begins with B and 3-4 letters/digits before the last 7 digits, so I can found out from which year the Honda is!

It is somewhere between a 1990 and 1993 possibly 1994. The model is BF45AM. Honda did not have model years back then. Those are the only years the 45 was made. It was replaced by the BF50A in 1995.

A friend told me that if I can find the letters SER then it's a model from 1990 and with SERA then it's a 1993! But I don't know where I can find those letters yet, but I will try to check it out in the weekend!
