Most likely one or more of the high speed jets are clogged or partially clogged...but....
Drain one of your carburators into a glass jar and check for water in the fuel. If there is water, then it is not going to run right until you clean out your fuel system.
Should check compression next.
If ok, then check your spark plugs. May be a bad plug.
If no change, then the carbs most likely need to be cleaned.
If you are going to try yourself, be sure to purchase a Helm shop manual. There are a lot of fuel and vacuum tubes on this model and if you do not have a good manual, it will not go back together correctly.
If you can not do yourself...time to go to the dealer. Besides cleaning them, they will also vacuum balance them for smooth idle and acceleration.
