Honda 225 losing Power

"Port engine ran fine all day

"Port engine ran fine all day but then dropped to 3400 RPM. Strange thing is that the RPM would rise up to 3400 but then as the throttle was pushed forward it would drop down to 3000. Checked out the Raycors, no sign of water. I also thought maybe the throttle cable, but the throttle is opening all the way to the stop. Looking for a suggestion on next step. Thought maybe high pressure filter?

"I forgot to mention that there isn't any coughing, backfire or sputtering. The engine cranks, idles and runs fine. If has just lost power."

u need to get a fuel pressure/

u need to get a fuel pressure/vacuum gauge on the fuel line

check
before/after primer bulb
after fuel filter
after fuel pump
