Took out the boat today as I was idleing away from the ramp the prop hit a rock. Motor quit. It will re-crank with the fast idle lever up. It now runs real rough. Has a huge miss in it. Will not run at all now at idle or in gear it just misses and cuts off.

Also yesterday it ran perfect at idle but had a miss at ful throttle. NOthing like now. It still ran good with the little miss then. Removed plugs and can easily turn flywheel. Pistons move up and down just fine when I do.

Has new coils, power packs, fuel pump, carbs rebuilt, wires and plugs."

I checked compression 135 all

I checked compression 135 all 4 spark is great. Have not checked timing have to take it to a mechanic for that. Motor did die when it hit. I will see where I can order a flywheel puller and check the key. No one around here sells them.

Is there a easy way to determine that? All 4 wires spark great and compression good. What do I do to find the one mis firing?
