I have twin Mercury 2003 135 HP Optimax engines. The port engine will exhibit momentary high rpms when placed back in neutral after operation. It's done it several times, but it intermittent and doesn't always rev up. I've heard it may be the throttle position sensor (TPS) could be the problem and I've heard it's not the TPS. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
