I have a 1993 evinrude 6hp it is my kicker and i only use it for trolling i was curious why i get it to low speed and it cuts out and dies I can pull choke out real quick and it starts to run again and 1 minute it sputters and dies again I tried new fuel tank and ball any suggestions?

Try pumping the fuel primer bulb, acting as a manual fuel pump. If that cures the problem, suspect a failing fuel pump.

thanks the ball makes it run fine think fuel pump kit will be a good start

I put in a fuel pump repair kit and still dies out
