Joel, need more information.
Size of boat, twin or single engine, which existing cyliner heads, etc.

Wrong pistons for the cylinder heads (and visa-versa), and you may have issues w/ C/R and so on.
 
The Boat is a 1989 27Ft Blackfin side counsel, with twin 350XL engines . It has the original cylinder heads it's the original starboard engine in the Boat. In the next few days I will pull the heads and spec the pistons. Let me know if you need additional info.

Joel, being a 27 footer would lead me to a quench built engine.
I wouldn't even consider going back together with the GM full dished pistons. Not at all!

You're going to want the cylinder head casting numbers in order to identify the combustion chamber volume.
And if this boat is like many others, this Stbd engine will be REV RH Rotation.
This changes some of the internal components and assembly procedure.
