G'day Gents, hope you are well
I recently purchased a 19XX 25HP 2 Stroke Mercury im having a couple of issues with
1st, the identification to find the year, on the welsh plug the number read is: 0D194229 i cant find the year model through any serial readbacks and charts, assistance would be great!
2nd, the outboard feels like its not getting full throttle compared to other similar videos i have seen, we recently replaced the gear oil, water pump, spark plugs and propeller thinking it was damage causing the low power with no help, before spending unnesscary money i figured i would make a post here, both cylinders seem to have spark and will do a compression test this week however it seems carby or fuel/air related, i could be wrong. only getting about 15kmph out of it currently and sounds like lower RPM, fuel filter was also checked and had minimal sediment in it, thanks for your time!
