"I bought a boat yesterday that has a 15hp Evinrude motor on it. I want to get an owner's manual, but I'm not sure what year I have. The model number is E15REUC and the serial # is 6043298646.

Any help you can give me trying to get an owner's manual would be greatly appreciated!"

If I am reading the code number correctly, you have a 15 HP rope start motor built in 1997. To get a manual, go back to the page that lists all the posts, above the two colums labeled "posts" and "pages" there is a link for "Johnson/Evinrude" OEM.....click on that and enter your data in the windows that appear. Enter 1997 in the "year" window, in the next window enter the HP, click on the third window and all the 15 hp models for that year will drop down--find yours, click on it, and you will get a list of manuals and parts."
