2003 Crownline 210 with merc alpha 1 gen 2 outdrive.
I replaced the gimbal /all bellows /rear shift cable, all OEM mercruiser parts. The alignment seems to be off to the starboard side of the boat. After completing all the replacements I checked alignment and it was off , so off I went to align the front mounts and that's where it all went down hill. So before replacing all components the drive was fine, just replaced for maintenance on the boat after owning it for a few years after buying it used. Now with the drive on the boat (alignment is still off to the right of boat), the drive makes a clicking noise unless it is going in a relatively straight line. The clicking is worse when turning either way or even trimmed up to go to the dock(not up into trailering mode). I tried to move the gimbal in the outer race but cant seem to get it to move(is this my side to side alignment I need, just need to hit it harder with alignment tool?). Any help or info is greatly appreciated.
