help with 454 mag mpi stalling when cold starts

My 2000 mag mpi 454 stalls only when its cold out at the first start. It also gives a series of beeps. It was checked with a scan tool and the only code wss a #14 coolant temp sensor. The iac and this were both changed and still same results. It is only at the initial start and after that its not an issue. We did what mercruiser reccomends to test the sensor with a voltmeter and it showed over 5 volts. Any help would be great.

So if you are getting code 14 then you have temp sensor problem.... This tells the engine if it needs more or less fuel when hot or cold.....
If someone knows how to read a scanner, as a tech he needs to look at what the resistance is....
Take a ohms meter and read the resistance, when cold should be very close to 0 ohms, this would tell the ECM engine is cold and needs 100 percent, of injectors open for tons of fuel when starting cold motor....
It sounds to me sensor has high resistances, and this tells ECM to cut back fuel to engine when starting cold.
It can be high resistance in wiring harness
