" Eunice.... That engine uses

" Eunice.... That engine uses a 50/1 fuel/oil mixture (1pt of 50/1 oil to 6gal gas). A gasoline octane rating of 87 will be fine.

The engine is a two (2) cycle engine, meaning that the piston fires every time it revolves.

Visit your local dealership, either Evinrude, Johnson, or Mercury and pick up a few pints of two cycle TCW-III 50/1 oil. The "TCW" stands for Two Cycle, Water Cooled.

I assume you'll be using a six gallon portable tank. It's best to put one gallon in, then the pint of oil, then the rest of the gas. If you put the oil in a empty tank, the raw oil will be forced up into the pickup tube inside the tank which will result in having that raw oil fed directly to the carburetor instead of a mixture.
