Help Replacing Throttle Cam Roller

Please excuse me if there is already info available on this forum for this. I did a search and could not find what I needed. I have a 1994 150 Johnson Fast Strike outboard that I need to replace the throttle cam roller. The model of the engine is J150 GLERV. I purchased a new cam roller (part number 323326) on line and now need to install it. Can any of you give me some information on how to install this correctly? My service manual does not provide much on this. Is this cam follower roller a press fit onto the throttle cam roller? This replacement cam follower is black and has a recessed (circular grooved) area on one end and is smooth (flat) on the other end. Does the grooved end assemble up or down? With the throttle in the neutral position, will this roller just press down all the way onto the throttle cam roller or will I need to loosen something to get the proper clearance? Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

Ok, I guess all I really need to know is if I have the correct part number (the parts diagrams I have found on line sure don't look like my engine parts) and is this a press fit on the cam roller with the grooved face end down or up?
thank you for any help you can provide.

That's what I am thinking too, but the part it goes onto in the parts diagram does not look like the part it would go on in my motor. I wonder now if I even have the correct part. Then there is still the question of which end of the follower goes up if it even makes a difference?

Now I am confused. Item 54 and item 67 appear to be intact on the motor. The part I purchased 323326 appears to go over item 54? Unless what i have left on my motor is part of item 54 after it fell apart?

Item 67 is a very small white O Ring which is a retaining ring that keeps item 54 from rising and falling off the shaft. Item 67 simply snaps into a groove on the shaft after item 54 is installed.

Thanks to all that responded. I went ahead and ordered item 54 and 67. Once I have these in hand, I think I will be able to sort this out.
