Help replacing prop shaft 2006 df140

"does anyone have experience replacing a propeller shaft on a df140? Hit a stump yesterday. I'm a 15 year auto mechanic thought I'd give a try replacing it myself. Any advice on disconnecting the linkage to remove the lower unit? Any other unusual aspects worth knowing? Special tools, etc... Thanks for any info."

"Thanks. I saw on another post you suggested brownspoint.com for the manual. I went there and its on back order, so I'm going to try and remove the lower unit and take it to a shop. Any advice on disconnecting the linkage to remove the lower unit? Thanks again."
 
remove the 6 bolts on the outs

remove the 6 bolts on the outside
should be a hidden bolt under the trim tan/fin
drops right down
