"Hi There, I am trying to get the power head off my 1986 Mariner 40HP, I have un done the 6 main bolts but it will still not move at all, am I missing something other bolts , should I remove the shaft, any help would be appreciated"

"i think thats all the bolts i can think of, those powerheads can be a pain to get off it would make it easier to get it off if you do take the lower unit off. if needed try using a prybar but be carefull.(i had to use one to get my merc 20hp block off)"
