Help,No spark :(

That wire stops the engine by being grounded, normally in the ignition switch.
Next step is to remove the same wire from the ignition switch and repeat the testing.
If engine works with wire off the switch, it is most likely the switch.
If problem remains even with wire off the switch, I would suspect the big red multi contact on engine connecting to the remote harness ((((:)D Got this off one of the post and checked the black&brown wire... Cut the grounding wire at the Coil too and still no spark! The motor had set up 8 years and got it started and it ran good two times for less than a min.. now no spark? Thanks Mike))))

First of all, please stay in your original thread. Top posting is annoying, and makes the dialogue harder to follow.
I gathered that you are working on a 1977 Evinrude 35 hp.
First thing I'd do is pop the flywheel and check the points and condensers, then check ignition coil resistance.
Unfortunately, without actually seeing your motor, I am unable to offer anything further.
One of our forum regulars will likely chime in soon. Good luck!

Are you asking a question OR telling use how to solve a problem.

I am old & on medicines. You are posting a question in a confusing way.

Thinks CarMech, I will do that and see whats going on. Cyclops2, I was asking a question about not having no spark but telling what I have checked so far
