Any incite or comments that might help are greatly appreciated. I have a 91' EVINRUDE TRACKER XP150 pro series. The model # is TE150SLEIE. The engine starts up just fine, Then after just a few minutes of running the motor will just randomly shut itself off. The shut-off is instant, like turning the key off. After this happens the boat will NOT start again for at least 30 minutes. It will just crank as if its not getting any spark. Also when this shut-off occurs there is a strong fuel smell as if the motor is flooded. However, today we drained the 3 fuel bowls on the carb. and were able to restart the motor without waiting the normal 20 to 30 minutes. This lasted till just after the boat planed out then the shut-off occured again. The fuel bulb stays hard after the shut-off and the fuel pump has been rebuilt. New plugs were put in this week. The engine does not seem to get hot and has steady water from the tell-tale. I am very frustrated... Thanks guys
