Help needed complete novice Johnson 2hp seahorse

Just bought a little rib with

Just bought a little rib with a Johnson 2HP Seahorse engine(model number BJ2RCRS). The queries i have before i start it are :
1. How old is the engine?
2. How much water do i have to submerge the prop into - ie does it have to go past the exhaust holes?
3. Whats the oli/petrol mix?
If anyone can help i would be truly grateful.

1) 1984
2) This should be an air-cooled engine, so as long the prop is in the water you should be good (most outboard engines exhaust into water since this helps to muffle the noise from the engine)
3) 50:1 (gas:2-cycle oil) is the mixture that you want."

"No offense intended here, but a correction pertaining to the cooling system is needed.

The 1984 2hp Evinrude/Johnson is a water cooled engine. The water pump is located directly on top of the lower unit.

Be sure to have the water level a couple inches abouve the bolts that retain the lower unit in order to have the water pump function properly."
