Help me identefy this part 2016 Honda 60hp

Hello,

During troubleshooting of a Honda 60 that runs poorly we found this part laying loose outside the engine block.

It almost looks like a tooth from the flywheel, but they all seem to be in place.

Help is much appreciated

Thanks for answering. After inspection it looks like starter is also complete.

Cam or crankshaft sprocket tooth?
It looks like it's broken off but hard to tell.

Last guess is crankshaft sprocket key?

It looks like a tooth off the cambelt

I thought it looked like a belt tooth too bob but he was looking at flywheel so I assumed it's metal and parts book says the engine has a timing chain.

Yes i forgot to mention that the part is metal

Yep! You right!
My mistake. I think I got mixed up and was looking at a 90.

But Tjetta said the piece is metal so that rules out belt even though it does look like a tooth from one.
