Help Locating Temperature Sensor on TMD40A

Hello fellow Volvo Penta enthusiasts,

I'm reaching out to the community for assistance with my Volvo Penta TMD40A engine. I'm having trouble locating the temperature sensor and despite contacting several Volvo Penta dealers and authorized partners here in the Netherlands, I haven't been able to get the specific information I need. If there happens to be an image or picture out there, that would be awesome.

Hope there is someone here that can help.

maybe this will help...its for the 41 series engines but I'm pretty sure the block layout hasn't changed...

Thank you Makomark. Sadly, the sensors are not in that position on my engineblock (see photo 1). Thats exactly the mistery because I have had the same tip (photo 2) from someone else. Also, thats where I would expect them to be. Weird...
