"I recently purchased a MacGregor 19 PowerSailor with a Johnson 40HP OB attached. There are no data plates on the motor or mount anywhere (I can see where they were placed but they are no longer attached). There are only two sets of numbers I can find on the engine. The first number from the silver disk on the top of the engine is G3034687. The second is from the side of the engine block, 333543. The engine is a tiller with electric start and charging. I was told it had originally had a tilt assist mechanism but that it was cut off due to it failing. The boat is a 1993 model, the motor is not the orginial motor that came with the boat. I was told it was a 1993 or 94 but no model number was known. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you."
