Help identify a year

Hello I just bought a 17' Carolina skiff powered y a 2stroke 70hp 3 cylinder outboard and there is no plate with maker model numbers. The only thing I found was the freeze plug number and I was told that couldn't help me. I'm trying to order a service manual or repair manual so I can start tinkering with it, but I have no clue what year to buy.

Sorry---After looking at the flywheel and red connecter plug on harness , the powerhead looks to be a 1991 or older.----Sort of a classic case of decals / paint to make it look like a newer motor.

So Is the 1991-2001 going to have the same setup and parts? I don't want to buy the wrong service manuel.
