Ok so I bought what I think is a 1996 Merc 60hp Bigfoot. the block is stamped that it was cast in 1995 hence why I think this is a 1996 motor.. The serial plate is nowhere to be found as the mounting bracket for the engine was repalced long ago.. I need to get some info for the motor as I need to get a boat side wiring harness and controls etc for the engine.. Any thoughts out there? I have checked all around for a clue as to what the motor is, but I am running up against dead ends.
