Got a 225 optimax 2005.
Got ddt scanner.
got continuous alarm tone.
Run the scan tool "Engine off fault check"
Results:
Fault Active...……………..Guardian on
Horn output -yes...…………………...I know that ...its noisey
Breakin Active-yes …………….I set this to on during this new setup
Pitot ckt -yes
oil level ckt-yes
fuel level ckt -yes
Sea temp high-yes
trim ckt LO -yes
On the scan tool lite 6 is lit up and displays "open"
Engine runs ok but a tiny bit lumpy and only revs to 2500
Checked oil float sensor and its okay....this would give intermittent beeps.
Checked water in fuel float and that's ok...…..and dupped fuel out of vent drains.
New plugs..... new top belt.....air compressor changed 12 months ago.
Rev counter displays the alarm bell symbol and engine symbol...…..this means an engine malfunction occurred.
Thinking about stripping fuel resaviour to check all clean.
That's it ….I'm out of ideas.
