hello everyone. i have a yamaha 90 engine that has been submerged in sea water
i can turn motor by hand . appears to have compression .
is it worth stripping & rebuild or buy replacement
geo.

Motors that have been submerged must be looked at within hrs.-----------They must be run to get the water out to prevent serious corrosion.----------Salt water makes it much worse.---------If it has sat for say a week or more it should be taken apart to see if it can be salvaged economically.
