Never mind. I used a 4x4 block of wood and placed it between the gimbal and the top cover and trimmed the foot up, it popped right off uuugggg i wish i had of tried that yesterday.
So i have the shift control in FWD gear, all the way. removed the 6 nuts, removed the prop, removed the bolt holding the Hydro arms on.
I have bumped and pulled and dropped the outdrive and it has only separated about 1/16 to 1/8 of an inch and doesn't seem to want to go any further. what am i doing wrong?
Everyone i saw done on youtube just slides right off.
