HELP! 2011 115 HP EFI Four Stroke - Gas leaking from Air Filter

I have an issue with my Merc (engine info below)
that no mechanic seems to be able to figure out. There is gas pouring out of my air filter. This is an intermittent issue that will sometimes occur as soon as you turn the key to "run" and the fuel pump kicks on, and other times it will start pouring out with gas when the boat is in the water and engine is running. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated as I am at my wits end trying to get this fixed.

Thanks all!

Hi rstiff
Not sure if you are using a primer bulb on this motor (no no) No needle and seat in fsm assy.
I would check the pressure regulator reference line in the FSM for cracks / fallen off ?
A merc dealer can also monitor the fsm float switch operation as well as the vent canister assy ( HI , LOW)
Hope you get sorted

Thanks mykc! No, no primer bulb. It is electronic fuel injection so it primes as soon as you turn the key to run before starting engine.
