Heat exchanger compatability

Would anyone know if the heat exchanger from a TMD40A will fit on a TMD 40.
Is there a way to make it work.

I'm no expert, but.... looking up parts in Volvo and entering TAMD40 there is only a A model and B model shown. This would tell me I don't think there is a TAMD40 without an A

Hi I meant a TAMD 40 heat exchanger fitting to a TMD 40A but could see how to edit the post
