"Alright so about three weeks
"Alright so about three weeks ago i was driving my boat everything was working great had rebuilt the motor redone timing replaced battery i mean just about everything one could do and it was all running great for about a month then about three weeks ago i put the boat in the garge and started rebuilding the boat. ( when i put it up the boat was below the E line on gas) .
so i go to take it out yesterday and the thin to a little to fire up but i figured had to build up some pressure in the lines. so get out past the no wake opened it up it was great hitting like 35 when a ski prop on.
come back to pick up some friends after it checked out ok then turn the tunes on and try to go out on the lake then it started losing power no immediately but seemed a little sluggish, almost as if not firing on all cylinders. and im hearing a popping sound . like it was coming from the carberator when they can have a little back lash sometimes.. so put it in netrual it dies after about 2 minutes.. check the wires fuel all of it would start. get pulled back in have the a guy at the marina check the batery it was reading like good on the volts hook it back up it starts after a little bit but then has no power...
i feel dumb for asking beings that i have done so much detailed work on it . but when the guy checked the battery it was off a voltmeter now just cause the volts are goo the battery could have still been dead corret? so my question given it sat for 3 weeks could the battery have been dead enough to let it crank but not give the spark amp required but still not be so dead that i could still crank it ...... if that even makes since ha
any ideas im open got it on the charger now"
