Att. RACER -1. i took your advise and used the valve grinding coumpound with a pice of glass.the head took a long while and lots of elbow power it must of been pretty warped.like you said the outer part of the head was the hardest part.after running out of coumpound i took a pice on 120 grit and glued it to the top of my table saw witch is flat and true.and again after some work the head looks to be new. no hi spots the full surface has the dull luster so i think i am ready to put new gasket on and mount it back. would you happen to no the torqe specks on this 60hp esl head.should i do the same thing on the reed plate and carb plate?and do those call for a torqe speck allso . thank you tony
