Good afternoon all, long time reader, first time post here at ME.
I recently bought a 1990 FourWinns Freedom 170 with a 2.3L OMC/Ford late last year. Over the winter I took it apart to troubleshoot a water leak. I took the head off to have it pressure tested (all good) and now am putting it back together.
Problem is, I cannot find a source for the head gasket P/N 0912764. Boat dealers in my area and from what I've searched online state: unavailable. I have the FelPro gasket from AutoZone: P/N FP8993PT1 but it does not seem to match completely.
Can anyone point me to where I can find the OMC P/N or a suitable substitute? Is the automotive one compatible or can it be modified to work?
