My port trim cyl. Blowing out atf like a gizer from having a corrosion hole in the actual cylinder... I don't think I'm going to have access/room to remove pins from the inside of the boat and I have learned the grease nipple removal technique does not work. If I have to remove the transom shield does the engine or bell housing have to be removed? The t.shield could use a overhaul/cleanup..paint etc.

I may just have enough wiggle room on the inside of my transom to get These trim cyl. hinge pins out with some heat....any body willng to rent out the vp hydraulic pressure pin tool? Im trying to avoid buying the entire square end hydraulic system from VP for my DP-A for almost 1g ... so cant find any used or even rebuilt sguare end DPA trim cyld. on the entire web..need help here! Can the AL trim cyl. be welded to plug the leak? If it can then I'LL rebuild them with the info I found on ebay with the rebuild kits. SOS.
