Ok I'm working on my cousins boat that haves a volvo 120 in it and the tag on the block say AQ120/200 and I'm trying to find a impeller and a sea water pump impeller but only find models like AQ120a or b. So my Question is will those parts from AQ120a or AQ120b inter change with this motor or not.
I only worked on mercruiser,,

The AQ120/200 would be an older push-rod engine and the 200 drive. This is some fairly old equipment!

The AQ120B is an early OHC engine which uses a slightly different sea water pump than the push-rod engines do.
Perhaps Kim has info on this, I'm not sure if these will interchange!

Look at the Volvo Penta sea water pump p/n 829895 ...... does this look familiar?

After looking at the schematic the only real difference I see is the oil cooler line (19).
I believe the year of the motor to be around 1968, but don't know for sure.

An AQ130 impeller will fit that pump fine. Check the drive coupler in the hole when you take the pump off. If you need the coupler, they're kind of hard to find, don't let anyone tell you the O/H cam couplers work, it won't.

Ok I will be checking the head bolts and valves. Do you happen to know the torque specs on the head bolts? Thank for the input guys.. :)
