Harmonic Balancer Problem

I was removing what I thought

I was removing what I thought was my harmonic balancer from my omc inline 6 cylinder. I used the wrong puller and my belt pulley seperated from the balancer. There is a rubber strip that fits between the pulley and balancer. I also lost the reference on the pully to the balancer for timing. What can I do to repair if possible and to make sure the pully will be in reference to the balancer. I think I made a fatal error. Will I have to find a replacement. My pully has 2 belt grooves. PLEASE HELP.

"sorry ed, but those need special equipment to repair. You can get them from a wrecking yard, but watch for bad seal grooves in the part as they will throw oil."
