Hardwire control box to motor

Really simple question and hop

Really simple question and hoping for a simple answer. Will I have any issues if I hardwire my Quicksilver control box to my 1986 Mariner 40? My control box does not have the tilt switch but I have one I will be wiring in.

"Hi Tony, I wouldn't think you would.I would suggest you wire the trim switch direct from the battery with an inline fuse and not from the control box, the wire in the control box might not be heavy enough to carry the load of both"
