Hard steering

Steering is VERRRRY tight, tried to use heat and add grease and it still is very tight.
I don't have a service manual.
I know it's a big job, any tips or procedures to fix the kingpin and bushings??

Going to heat it and hope to wake up the old grease. It's probably 30 years old.
The bushings are plastic.

Used a hot wrench and loosened it some.
Will need a teardown soon.
Way too big a job for me.

I had same issue on my old 70. The inside of the tilt tube had started to rust. I bought a stainless replacement tube but the crank bearing got sloppy before I could swap it so I bought a new engine.
