hard starting when cold

I have a 1995 Johson 150 V6 that is very hard to start first time in the day and if it is shut off for more than an hour, the engine turns over good, it will fire and kick the starter drive out. i have to keep cranking it sometimes it wont even fire, then starts firing again and eventuly is starts and runs. I have new plugs and have gapped them. I have pulled out the plugs after trying to start it and they don't seem to wet, I have checked for spark on all cylinders, pumping the primer bulb while truning it over doesn't change anything, this just started a towards the end of the season last year and seems to be getting worse.

It has an inboard tank, the vent is clear and has a water separator in the fuel line. the primer bulb seems to get a bit soft after sitting for an hour or so. when it does start there is a lot of blue smoke for a few seconds and clears up and will ideal perfect once the engine is running it works perfect from ideal to full throttle.

Any ideas what to look for or check?

found out it wasn't a fuel problem as first suspected. I checked for spark again and found only 2 cylinders had spark, thinking it could be the coil packs I switched them around and now have good spark on all cyclinders, tried starting the engine, it sputtered and smoked but started and ran good, tried starting it a couple of times and it started right up. put the cover over the electrical connection on top of the coil, put the hood back on and tried to start it again and it wouldn't start it was doing the same thing again. took off the hood and plastic cover over the wiring connection and looked at the connection, it appeared that a couple of the connection look bent over and not making a good connection, moved them a bit and tried starting the engine it started right up. I beleive ths issue is in the wiring connection on the juction block for the coils. left the cover off as it seem to be pushing down on the connection and it ran great the rest of the weekend it would fire right up first thing in the morning and any time after that. I going to go throught the wiring connection this week.
