"I replaced the shift cable on my 280 drive, and replaced the locking paws also, as they were pretty worn, I've adjusted the reverse lock set-up as per the instructions in the shop manuals, however it shifts kinda hard ... were before it was smooth....kinda effortlessly .... reverse is kinda really hard, I've tried just the cable disconnected and I can move it in and out by hand .... did I miss something?"
