Gray marine V8-170 manual

Hello, new to the forum. I picked up a 1961 Century Corsair recently. It has a Gray Mariine V*-170 engine in it. Does anyone know where I might find a manual for the engine?

Thanks, Chap.

For most things for a Gray marine engine, Van Ness Engineering is a real good starting point...go to www.graymarine.com and you will find their contact data...its most likely built using the AMC rambler 327 engine...

Thanks for the reply. I actually spoke with Van Ness Engineering today, on my way to look at the boat I bought! Dave from there and I had a good conversation, and he gave me somethings to look for and they do have manuals, and also I got an idea about what costs I might run into with getting the engine ready to run. While the boat, a Century Corsair, is kinda rough, the engine appears to be in great shape and i'm keeping my fingers crossed that it is as it appears to be. I will remove the engine over the next couple of weeks and get it to Van Ness to do the minimum and see if it's it good enough condition to just give it a refresh. Luckily for mr they are close enough for me to bring the engine myself.
