"Well, finally gave up on city

"Well, finally gave up on city living and got a new (to us) house in boat country (Kingston/1000 Islands area of Eastern Ontario).

Yes, I will be away from the computer for about a week, and will have to give up cable and high speed internet in favour of satellite TV and dial up (oooohhhh).

But on the positive side, the boat launch is now only 1 1/2 miles from my driveway - and that's just the closest one - there are half a dozen within 5 miles - and at 10-15 miles you can quickly lose count (I guess that makes dial-up worth it)


Anyhow, once I'm wired up I will get my new email posted up so that all who prefer to email me direct can get in touch.

By the way, the house is maked with the A on the little map below - from side to side, about 30 miles, and about 20 miles deep - I guess I will find a place to put the boat in

"You know You can always gets a wireless plug in from your cell phone provider...that what I have to do at my house. It does cost a little more, but its very fast and I can take it anywhere with me. Just an idea you might want to look into, I wasn't able to get any other service other than satelite(very expensive). Its a card that goes into your USB port."
