Got my head in a bind

"Well lets see where i should

"Well lets see where i should start..
I will try to say all i can to get the right info out..
Right now my 470 Mercruiser is almost up and running.. but after buying a new starter.. coil, condensor.. and slave solenoid and replaced all wires from harness to engine, i can get it to firing up, but the problem is no matter what i do or check i can not get it to stay on after i let the key go.. and by the way the key switch is new..for some reason i am not getting it to stay on.. i even tried to jump start the solenoid and still one stay on after i let go of the jumnpers..
so i am not lost espectally when last week i had it running but the coil died.. I did not change no wires after that.. just replaced the coil and also bought a new resistance wire..
so anyone know why.."

Sounds like you have wired it

Sounds like you have wired it incorrect. Seems there is no power to the + side of the coil from the key switch when in the run / on position. Check for power at the coil with the key in the on position.

wiring is done totally right..

wiring is done totally right..
also i have run a test and when you mean in run on position do you mean just turn key with out starting.. or do i start.. cause i dont get any power at run position and when i try to turn it over it does show power..
