i am looking for a site that has all information about this motor and tips and tricks ect.

i need to perform
1 carb rebuild what carbs do i have can not identify?
2 oil change what weight?
3 change spark plugs
4 water impeller change
5 info on oil injection block off for the 2 stroke oil injection so i can pre mix

i am having alot of problems finding any sites with the info over the last week like i have found for my johnson and evinrude outboards

1. Look in the throat of the carb- if the choke shutter is 1 piece, it's a Walbro. If the shutter is 2 pieces with a spring, it's a Tillotson.

2. You mean gear oil? Use Mercury/Quicksllver premium gear oil. No need to spend the extra bucks on high performance gear oil on an outboard of this size. Don't use automotive gear oil- most do not have anti-foaming agents and rust inhibitors like marine gear oil.

3. That's a good idea.

4. Another good idea, but on an outboard of this age, I would do a complete waterpump rebuild- upper body, impeller, and wear plate.

5. Why? these pumps are very reliable. If your autoblend isn't working, you can still get a rebuild kit. If you want to run 50:1, just cut and cap the oil line.
