Hello fellow boaters! Have a question. Boat doesn't see much water but when it does it loves it. Anyway. Sometimes it takes a bit to start like normal. Then when it does run it runs great. But sometimes it has a fluke like just starting out it will sound like its running strong but its not it maybe goes 6 mph at full throttle. its only a aluminum 14 foot boat with me and my wife it goes 22 23 mph full throttle. And it does it rarely but it doesn't matter if its warm or cold engine. i have changed the fuel line had a tuneup like 3 yrs ago. and after that it still does it. I know im probably confusing you guys. but its really confusing me since the original owner took it to a shop they didn't find nothing wrong and i have too. it also uses alot of fuel when it runs full throttle and high rpms. so i know its getting fuel maybe too much but it only does this once in awhile. but i notice when i try to start the boat i can tell if its going to act up or not it hard to start takes some choking and i have to rush the throttle just to get it going. well if any of you guys can make out what i have just typed then i guess i made some sense. If anybody has suggestions i am up for them. I was thinking about getting a manual just for the motor maybe that would give me tips but i have read some other posts and im sure someone here can help out. Thanks for reading and i am hoping you guys can give me a hand. Thanks again.
