Goldband 25hp help

I have a Merc 25hp gold band , its been laid up for a few years, when i was fitting the remotes back on there are 2 wires that must be the kill switch but i dont know wherabouts they are fitted to on the engine block, can anyone help me?

Thanks i will give that a try, my motor is a pull start if that makes any difference, so there is no battery
