my friend has a 1996 fast stri

my friend has a 1996 fast strike ranger edition that the battery went dead on when he charged it the trim down was stuck on from time to time it will quite or not start I am in inclined to think its a grond problem. the boat it's self experiences the same problems any thought's

"Charge battery, Disconnect the battery leads from either battery terminal (Not Both!). Install a volt meter set to its lowest voltage reading between the bare battery terminal and the wire(s) you just disconnected.

If a voltage drain exists, it will read on the volt meter. Start disconnecting wires at the engine etc. When the voltage reading ceases to exist, you've found the cause.
