"Perfroming my regular maintnance on my outboard and I was changing my engine oil and gearcase oil this morning. While filling my engine back up with oil I accidently grabbed the gearcase oil bottle and poured maybe 100 ml into my engine(before realizing I am a total idiot). I emptied all of the oil out and allowed the motor to drain completely. I then flushed the motor with two bottles of new fresh regular oil and allowed it to drain completely. I then filled it back up with 2.1 quarts of new oil. I havent started it yet, but I would like to know what else I should do before trying to start it.
My course of action is to run the motor, then do a full oil change including filter. I will then do another change in three months.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can do. Or if I need to do something else before attempting to start the motor."
