Gearcase/lower unit swap from NS5B to NSF5B

Hey guys, quick question about the interchangeability of the gearcase/lower units on the early 2000s 2 stroke and 4 stroke 4-6hp Nissan/Tohatsu outboards. I'm looking to buy a used four stroke NSF5B long shaft, and I have a 2 stroke NS5B short shaft. The gear case and lower units look identical, can I just swap them around?

Yes. Of course, you will end up with a long 2S motor, as well as a short 4S.
