Is there a way to change gear

Is there a way to change gearcase oil with boat in water other than pulling off its gearcase? Thanks in advance.

"James..... Other than raising the boat on a davit, I can't think of any way to do that. The gearcase must be in a vertical (running) position to fill the gearcase.
