if this has nothing to do with the gears, then this is my next question, what is it for? :)

thanks for reading and helping

yes i removed the motor, the gears have to get out.. but i can find it in the lower unit then? my idea is to remove n°1 from this image:

then i can remove the axle, where to gears are connected to, also when its out i can remove the waterpump.
do i am right or is there a big problem i'm looking over?
thank you for answering so fast.

What is the problem with the motor ?-------Yes you have to take #1 off and take it all apart to work on the gears.----I would first test the shift function by turning the shift shaft on # 1 assembly with a vice-grip.

there is isnt really a problem wit hthe motor. but there is coming an electro motor in stead of an gas motor. but i have to get the gears out and also the waterpump.

hi again, i figured out everything about the previous talks, but i was wondering, what can i do to 'remove' the gears? the problem is that when it is in a gear, it doesnt turn the other side ( like it should) but i need to get it fixed, so that the prop will allways turn the side my axle turns. (sorry if my english is bad, technical english is pretty difficult) so, i need to get the axle fixed to the prop, and if its possible to get the ratio of 2:1 to 1:1 or something, would be awesome.

thanks for helping me so far, and thanks for reading.

Regards Leander
