gasket sealant

I have a 1971 4 hp weedless Evinrude 4106D. The drive shaft was stuck in the crank, so I had to tear the lower leg off to fix. I am starting to put it back together, with new gaskets (2) (inner exhaust housing) and (exhaust housing to power head). What I am trying to find out is, do I need to apply some kind of gasket sealant to those gaskets, and if so what kind? Also, do the bolts and screws also need some kind of sealer on them too? And lastly, is there also some sort of sealer that goes between the gearcase and exhaust housing? Thank you!!
